I just got an LG HDTV and it only has one audio output and it's optical. my receiver is fairly old (c. ) but it has 3 optical inputs all are assignable as well. problem is, i run an optical cable from the tv to the opt-inputs on the receiver and i get nothing. there's a button on the front of the receiver that says input.
